Help I'm an idiot

I've been reading some headlines lately and occationally come across one that makes me think "Help, I'm an idiot!" Just now I read one where this 16 year old girl takes off from a hit and run and decides to avoid police by jumping into a 12' canal. Of course she drowned. Duh. It's sad but I still think she could have just avoided dieing by not being stupid. Then yesterday I read about drivers still going 80 miles an hour on that stretch of highway 6 that was blown up by the semi. "Help, I'm an idiot! I can't learn from other's mistakes. I must first die."
