Well folks, you have to be careful about when you decide to read the blogs. Today for example I had had a very productive morning and decided to read the blogs. Sarah and Emily were playing in the family room. When I finished I went out and discovered (Eerie music playing and the room darkens) Emmie had thrown up her breakfast, crawled through it and spread it across the room and the couch. As I strip her down and start to clean up the floor she crawls over to see what I am doing and get in the way and I realize she is also poopy. Oh brother! Now here is a problem because I don't want to let this stuff sit and absorb into the carpet but I can't just stick the girls in the bathtub unattended either. In the end I cleaned up most of the carpet as quick as I could and then cleaned up the rest after the bath. From now on I will wait to read the blogs until at least Emmie is down for a nap, which by the way is what she is doing right now.

Molars?!
Molars! That explains all the fussing and the grabbing of the mouth for the last few weeks but sheesh kid, you don't even have all your incisors yet not to mention your cuspids! I think you are going about this all wrong and I just hope it doesn't affect your prospects at getting into a good college.

Emmie Napped!
The last several weeks Emmie has given up napping. She will be sooo tired that I will put her down sure that she will sleep at least an hour if not several days. Then 20-30 minutes later she is up, still grumpy but totally unwilling to sleep longer no matter how I coax, rock, sing, or cuddle her. This is true for morning and afternoon nap-times. I thought perhaps if I skip the morning nap she'll actually nap in the afternoon, but no. This is bad because I currently use nap time to either nap or do something totally nonkid condusive like reading my scriptures. This has really hampered me this week because I have had a cold. More importantly it has hampered Emily who has been sick and was diagnosed yesterday with an ear-infection.
Then today when I really really needed a nap and she really needed a nap she napped! She slept 21/2 hours! What a blessing. As soon as I woke up and realized what time it was and that she was still asleep I couldn't help but say a prayer and hope that this will continue.
