Hooray hooray we're on our way...

...our summer vacation starts today. Alyssa started us out today at 6:40 am and Emmie soon followed at 7. The girls are so excited they hardly know what to do with themselves. Sarah goes around singing "The farmer in the dell" over and over while she colors, plays doctor, and currently cleans up so she can watch "Snow White." Emmie has been playing doctor, coloring, and asking me when we are going. We've all showered, even Alyssa has had her bath, in record time. The sheets are almost done in the dryer and the car is packed. I feel like one of the girls. I'm just so excited!!

A water fight is just the right activity for an evening where the temperature is in the high 90's. 

Alyssa was laughing and laughing to see Sarah shake her head vigorously everytime Emmie would touch Sarah's head. It was so cute. 

Clearly a "chick magnet". 

Sunday we went on a drive from Hobble Creek Canyon up and over and then down Diamond Fork Canyon. We saw these deer on top and they didn't even run off. Clearly a minivan is not a threat. 

It's really not that hard to eat 4 suckers at the same time. 

The Favorite Uncle...at least right now. 

Last week Sarah faithfully followed Alan around the whole backyard while he mowed.
